Maskara sa Adlaw

The glare of the sun through the leaves of the Anahaw.

The mask of the sun.

If you're a photographer, you should try shooting into the sun. You can find ways to cover it, shed off some light if you're afraid that it might be deadly for your sensor. Just like this photo.

The morning sun was too bright on the morning that Mama was to be buried, so I used the Anahaw leaves to cover some of it and it had nice glare effects. I love looking at this photo, it looks so peacefully relaxing.

Another thing I like about this photo is the depth of field. Take a closer look and see where the focus is at. :)

Taken on the side of the road outside Mama's funeral in Maria, Siquijor.
