Even our shadows like each other much ;)
Heart made out of sauce. Taken with a Nokia N73 mobile phone.
Love the cotton balls!
Moonlit picnic.

Shadow of love.

Valentine's day is just around the corner and I've just started going through all my old photos. Starting with ones I took using a Casio Exilim EX-P600. Great point and shoot, I tell you.

These photos are taken back in April 2008. Our first anniversary that we spent in UPLB and a night a moonlit picnic at the UPLB soccer field while watching Enchanted on my laptop in the open fresh air. And yeah, we had a slice of cake to celebrate our first year together. It's full of cheese, just the way I like it. :P

Just like how I imagined this blog to be, I'm going off topic again. I'm supposed to have a "long term capture of the thoughts running around my brain" (says so in the disclaimer at the footer) so here's a thought I attached with this photo.

A few nights ago, it was a full moon with a really clear, cloudless sky. Just like the night of April 11, 2008. I went to bed and I could see the moon while lying down. Although I was in a weird, awkward angle just so I could see the light, saved a short verse into my phone's draft messages and here it is, semi-polished:

Moonlight showers from the sky through the patterns of my window
And casts faint diamonds in a saraband on my bed.
They waltz as I wave my hands through the light,
Reaching out for your silhouette in the empty dark of the night.

I always get romantically poetic at the sight of a full moon. It's like a turn into a werepoet. Happy 34 months, Amanda. Infinite more to come. :)
