Photowalking is the act of walking with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things that the photographer may find interesting.

Well, like the ol' handy-dandy Wikipedia says, it is an art of creating art. Redundantly beautiful.

This Is Not Manila. When you enter Eastwood, it doesn't feel like Manila at all. It feels like you're in the movies. Or you're in a dream, in a Gossip Girl setup. Haha. Reminds me a lot of Union Square, San Francisco. Everything looks so high end. Including the expenses. High. Way high. But right when you exit the gate, it's the old, polluted, traffic-y, cheap-looking Manila. It's like waking up from a really nice dream on a Monday morning to go to work. Oh, right. I'm going to work tomorrow. Hay.

Gusto na Nakong Mo-uli
I wanna go home. This second set of photos were taken 9PM at night when the bigger boats come back from the sea with their catch. Madridejos, unlike Sta. Fe, is a fisherman's area, not really a tourist spot with lots of nice beaches. This is where my humble hard-working tatay comes from.

Ikatulong Kasumaran sa among Paghinigugmaay
Third anniversary of being in love. Over a week ago, went to Manila to see Amanda. We spent our anniversary days at Puerto Galera, Mindoro. (See panorama shots of Puerto Galera here). Took a 3 hour bus ride from the Buendia terminal to the Batangas Pier. Then on to a rather large outrigger boat, riding for almost an hour to Muelle port on Puerto Galera. We were picked up from Muelle by a smaller outrigger pumpboat, pick-up service brought to you by Boquete Beach Club.

Sa Likod sa Bus
At the back of a bus. Who says you can't do a photoshoot at the back of a moving bus in the middle of a busy city? You definitely can. You'll have to discard a lot of photos though. Haha. This was on an almost empty, very old bus from the City going back to Navotas after we just bought Amanda her new laptop from SM North. By the way, I was in Manila to be with Amanda on her birthday. :)

Usa ka Hapon Uban sa Kaluha
One afternoon with the twins. Another set of photos from the La Mesa Eco Park. The previous one, Pagpasiyo sa Parke sa La Mesa, was a set about the park. Now, it's a set for my models. Amanda and Angela. Woot. Angela took a photo of me and Amanda taking a walk down a path. Thanks, ge. :)

Pagpasiyo sa Parke sa La Mesa
Strolling the La Mesa Park. Lots of trees and flowers. Didn't get to see the La Mesa Dam though because it was too hot to go up a hill on a staircase with no shade at 3PM in the sunny afternoon. What got me really interested is the statue of a man and woman riding the back of a giant land turtle. I have no idea what myth or story this is trying to tell but I like it. I've always been fond of fantasy stories of the old. :)
